Computational Aeroacoustic-Structural Interaction Laboratory (CAESI Lab) was started  in 2018.

Our core activities involve the development of conservation element and solution element (CE/SE) scheme and lattice Boltzmann method (LBM) for prediction of aerodynamically generated noise over a wide range of Mach number using direct modeling and large-eddy simulation approaches, numerical modeling of nonlinear interaction between aeroacoustics and vibrating surfaces and materials, and the applications of all these numerical techniques for design and optimization of engineering problems of popular interest.
